Stupid rant..

there are two primary news items that have been in focus over the last few days...

the first being the fake encouter death by Red Beard Vanzara and the second, the goltu immigration scandal.

Vanzara a man that would warm George Bush and Dick Cheney's hearts. This is a man who kills terrorists. Human rights and legal procedure be damned. The BJP would like us to believe that is all that matters.

Yes, Sorabuddin was a terrible man. He was an extortionist wanted in at least three states. But does that mean he gets pulled of a bus and shot?

Ok. i would just like to say one thing. people think that sorabuddin's wife was burned to death. I think that's highly unlikely. It is more likely that the dead body of the woman was burned to destroy evidence of her murder and possible rape.

it's a henious crime but some perspective is required.

This is going to get very ugly.

Already cases are popping up like mushrooms concerning the number of fake encounters this man has committed. What if it is found out that he killed five, ten, twenty innocent people? Wouldnt he then deserve the death penalty?

what would the BJP do then.. it would say that if Afzal Guru is not executed, then neither can Vanzara...

Comparing the kashmiri militancy to state sponsored terrorism is a bit bizarre. But hey! this is india.

I find it funny that Hussain was hounded of the country for painting mother india in the nude. A true depiction of mother india would be a woman being gangraped by politicans and bureaucrats.

In that regard, i find the hulabaloo over the immigration scandal a bit weird.

illegal immigration at the end of the day is a victimless crime. You have mla's doing much worse..whats the big deal?

It is a big deal.

They have diplomatic passports. They enjoy privileges because they are the elected representatives of the people. And they abuse the privileges because airport authorities do not dare question them.

Thinking that this is not a big deal is the worse display of cyncism. Only i have the right to do that.
