Protest Nation

I was watching the news today please note the first four stories:

1. Star News office smashed as a protest by some redneck Hindu organisation for running a story about a Hindu girl wanting a marry a Muslim boy.
Too sick to deserve comment.

2. Shilpa Shetty's shoot disrupted by protesting Shiv Sena activists for being kissed by Richard Gere at an AIDS awareness event.
To stupid to deserve comment. But i must mention that had earlier lamented the lack of people defending themselves. I didnt think someone like Shilpa Shetty would do it. Full power to you ma'am.

3. Protests by the BJP and in Pakistan on the remarks of Rahul Gandhi on his families role in shaping the subcontinent.
One. It's evil to say India broke up Pakistan (though true). I think it's just smarter to say we liberated Bangladesh. Two. It's stupid to write off India's role so Pakistan can just shut up. Three. There is a belief within the Congress that they have some special legitimicy to rule India because it's role in the freedom movement. Are we supposed to vote for them irrespective of their performance because of that? However, i no way endorse the articulation of BJP's opposition to this view. It's just hackcyned and stupid.

5. Protests that Zaheer Khan and Sachin Tendulkar should return home instead of playing.
What? They cant play domestic cricket either? Retarded.

6. Protests in Bihar for the kidnapping of a kid.
Totally valid.

I protest the fact that only one protest in this country is valid.
